OVERVIEW
The WARDOGS Driver Certification program validates ground-vehicle operators across three specialized tracks. Each track has a written exam and a practical evaluation; passing the written exam (90% minimum) is required to schedule an in-game practical check ride with an instructor.
Tip: Choose the track that matches the vehicles and tactical role you intend to operate in-game.
TRACK 1: SMALL TRANSPORT
Focus: Fast, agile light vehicles used for rapid insertion, hit-and-run, and tactical off-road navigation.
- Vehicle handling at high speed and low traction
- Tactical off-road route selection and obstacle negotiation
- Speed-run techniques and safe high-speed cornering
- Quick-exfil and immediate threat reaction
EXAM FOCUS: vehicle dynamics, traction management, evasive driving, and terrain assessment.
TRACK 2: HEAVY TRANSPORT
Focus: Large logistics vehicles and multi-passenger transports with emphasis on payload management and safety.
- Payload weight distribution and center-of-gravity effects
- Climb/descent techniques on steep inclines and rough gradients
- Braking limits under load and emergency stopping procedures
- Convoy coordination, vehicle spacing, and casualty extraction procedures
EXAM FOCUS: load calculations, engine/brake management, convoy tactics, and vehicle survivability.
TRACK 3: WEAPONIZED
Focus: Armored and weaponized platforms — APCs, IFVs, tanks, and self-propelled artillery operations.
- Operating heavy armor: mobility, concealment, and survivability
- Maneuvering with mounted weapons and coordinating fire support
- Armor angling, sloped-armor tactics, and reducing penetration from AP rounds
- Communication with gunners and combined-arms movement discipline
EXAM FOCUS: vehicle armor mechanics, angling strategies, weapon integration, and team coordination.
PRACTICAL EVALUATION & RULES
COMMON RULES OF ENGAGEMENT:
- CRASH = FAIL - Major vehicle destruction or catastrophic contact during evaluation results in immediate failure.
- POOR TACTICS = FAIL - Failure to maintain convoy discipline, expose dismounts, or misuse of vehicle assets is grounds for fail.
- Precision in parking/exfil maneuvers and timely execution of orders are assessed.
- Demonstrate proper vehicle maintenance checks and threat-assessment prior to movement.
After passing the written exam for a chosen track, complete the post-exam certification form to transmit your results and schedule an in-game practical with an instructor.
